Shanti Raghavan

Founder, Enable India | Ashoka Fellow

Shanti Raghavan is the founder of Enable India, and has been working for the economic independence  and dignity of persons with disability since 1999.

She is an Ashoka Fellow, a National Award Winner, and a governing council member of the Skills Council for Persons with Disability (SCPwD) and of Workability International. She was identified, by Business Today, as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business in 2017. She's also the winner of Times Now Global Amazing Indian Award, NCPEDP Shell Helen Keller Award, and the International Zero Project award for Innovative Practice.  Shanti has an MS in Computer Science from Monmouth University, USA, and 12 years of experience in the software industry.

Enable India impacts livelihoods across 12 disabilities and has opened up more than 272 jobs across 27 sectors where persons with disability are earning starting salary from Rs. 66000 to 18 lakhs per annum (as freshers) and their work has reached 900 locations in 28 states.
