Rajasekharan (Raja) is co-founder of v-shesh, an impact enterprise that he co-founded together with Shashaank Awasthi in 2008. Raja’s prior experience is as a business & development sector practitioner with over 20 years of experience in incubating and leading assignments in publc and private sector. Raja is an active expert member of National & State level committees / working groups on disablty policy. He is part of the founding team of Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India, Governing Council member in Vidysagar Special School, and Mentor / Advsiroy Board member for Climbers, a youth based EduTech company. Raja is an Engineer, MBA from Mumbai, & MS Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

v-shesh has trained 3000+ job seekers with disabilities and has made 2000+ job connections in the last 4 years. v-shesh has worked with over 100 firms, where it has conducted over 200 disablity awareness sessions. Empaneled with Govt. of India as Access Auditors, v-shesh has conducted accessibility assessments for several coprorates, PSUs & top education institutions including IIM Bangalore, IIM Kolkatta & IIM Ahmedabad. v-shesh’s team of 33 members is a picture of diversity with 15 women, 13 Persons with disablity and the team being able to converse in 15 different languages!

v-shesh’s work in disablity inclusion has won several recognitions – most prestigious one being the 2016 National Award from The President of India for Best Placement Agency for Persons with Disability. v-shesh was recognsed as the 2017 Social Business of the year by ICICI CNBC, and is listed as Top 10 Diversity Consultant in the Global Diversity List 2015, supported by The Economist magazine. v-shesh was awarded the NCPEDP Shell Helen Keller Award in 2013 for Workplace Disablity inclusion and NCPEDP Mphasis Award for Universal Design in 2014.
