Nirmala Menon is a HR professional with over thirty years of experience in varied roles across diverse organisations both in India and the United States. As Founder & CEO at Interweave, her contributions in the field of Diversity and Inclusion has been recognised with her being listed among the "Top 50 Diversity Professionals" in the Global Diversity List. Prior to Interweave, she was the Diversity and Employee Relations leader for IBM, India where she gained wide and specific experience in the area of diversity management. Her stint as part of IBM’s global diversity team provided her international experience embedding IBM’s diversity philosophy and practices across countries in APAC, Ireland, Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Today, Nirmala and her team at Interweave work with several marquee organisations across industries as a one-stop shop for organisational diversity and inclusion solutions. Recognised as a subject matter expert, Nirmala is associated with various industry bodies like NASSCOM, CII, NHRD, SHRM, etc. in India. She was also a representative in the informal international advisory group of UN Global Compact & the UNIFEM to formulate the Women's Empowerment Principles.

A certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors and a certified coach from the International Coaching Academy, Nirmala also holds a Masters in Business from XLRI, India and an MS from Temple University, USA.
